What I learned from a bag of Pistachios

Clearly I have been eating Pistachios lately, hence the title. As I was working through my portion of nuts, which has nothing to do with serving size, it is just how much I wanted to that day. I had a interesting and profound thought…

A bag of pistachios is like life.

It’s nuts and everyone around us nuts also.

Kidding! Well, no I’m not but that was an after thought…

A bag of pistachios is like life.

Each shell represents a day.

Some are easier to get through while others are more challenging.

But no matter what, you must keep working through the shells one by one.

After working your way through one shell you are rewarded with another one to work through.

You soon realize the nuts inside the shells are always different just like the feeling you feel at the end of each day.

And, finally, whether it is your bag or someone else’s bag, there is always a feeling of sadness when the bag is empty.
