Is your effort sucking?

Are you getting the results you want?

It happens more times than not, especially in fitness, clients or participants get discouraged because they are not seeing the results they want. There are a lot of factors when it comes to getting those desired results. Your nutrition, the type of workout, recovery time etc. the list can go on for days.

However, sometimes issue is your effort. Some people may get offended by what I am about to say (probably because it hits a little too close to home). But, it has to be said.

If your effort sucks, your results will suck.

For instance:

If the workout is designed for time (finish as fast as possible) you should not be able to talk during the workout. Your effort is sucking.

If the workout is designed for you to lift heavy weights and you aren’t struggling by the last 3-4 reps. Your effort is sucking.

If you aren’t sweating by then of your workout. Your effort is sucking.

If you aren’t breathing heavy (no matter the type of workout). Your effort is sucking.

These may seem harsh but the truth hurts. Your effort is a key factor to your success in all areas of life. Without effort you will be without results. If you are not happy with where you are or the results you are seeing. Do something different. I would suggest bring more EFFORT before changing your entire life around.

For good measure.

Effort=Results.
