Create What You Can Imagine

But, as it is written, “What no eye has seen, nor ear heard, nor the heart of man imagined, what God has prepared for those who love him.” 1 Corinthians 2:9

So, what I am hearing is, no matter how great of a life I can think of; God has an even better life planned for me? Now I think the bible is playing games with us. In one verse it says we can’t even imagine the amazing life that has been prepared for us. In another verse it says, do not be anxious. How on earth (or heaven) am I not suppose to be anxious about the amazing life God has prepared for me?

This is where I see to be sitting at the moment. I feel a pull toward the Lord; I have a good idea on what I am supposed to do but no details how. I think there are a lot of us at this place in our lives. You have a great idea or plan to do God’s will but you do not have the details yet. We might not even know where to start but we must start somewhere.

What is your idea or plan and where do you start? Start first by doing what you can do. This will require you to break down your idea. Here are a few questions to help you as you move forward.

  1. What are three small tasks you will need to do to turn your idea into reality?
  2. What can you do to accomplish these tasks?
  3. Do you need to break down those steps even further?

If need be, continue breaking down the steps using a concept map or branching technique to help you figure out the little details which will allow you to start creating your big idea into a reality. This is a simple process of using a concept mapping idea to live out your big idea.

This will allow you to do as much as you can to live the life you can imagine. As you travel this journey of life be thankful and aware of God’s plan for you, which is much greater than you will have ever thought if you love him. Be prepared to change your route because if you aren’t obedient you will be missing out on great opportunities set in front of you by God.
